Unit Plans, Floor Plans and Site Plans
Three drawings answer three different questions. An overview of what each discloses.
Updated

The unit plan shows the apartment alone - room dimensions, wall positions, door swings, window locations and balcony depth. It is used to establish whether furniture fits, whether circulation consumes area, and whether a genuine cross-ventilation path exists between openings on different sides.
The floor plan shows the whole floor: how many units share the lift lobby, which units adjoin, where service shafts and the garbage chute sit, and which units are corner or internal. It is where the position of a neighbouring living room against a bedroom wall, or an entrance facing a chute, becomes apparent.
The key or site plan shows the tower's position within the project: distance to facing towers, orientation, proximity to the driveway ramp, clubhouse, generator room and STP, and the location of future phases.
The observation commonly made is that purchasers examining only the unit plan omit the two factors most affecting daily experience - adjacency and outlook.
Verification on site follows, walking the actual gap between towers and, where a completed tower exists, standing at the equivalent position.
